Beanies, beanies, beanies!

Over the weekend I finished military beanie No. 14. Just six more to go.
Sunday I started a beanie for our nephew, Jackson. He turns 6 on the 17th.
I finished Jackson's beanie last night. The white stripes are glow in the dark. I haven't figured out a way to take a pic of it actually glowing in the dark. But believe me when I tell you that it is super cool. And apparently the glow in the dark yarn is on sale at Michaels this week.

I started working on a beanie this weekend (you'll be glad to know!) and Casey said he'd like one too. I think I'll get some really nice wool yarn and make him one for x-mas. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

Sorry I never got back to you on the specs for the nephew cap, but it looks like you figured it out! :-)

I was trying to figure out a good use for the glow-in-the-dark yarn -- I like the stripes idea.

No worries Penny. Yea, I just went with 60 sts.
Yea, I love the way the cap came out. I did have to double up the glow yarn so it was as thick as the navy yarn.
