Fun-filled yet relaxing weekend
Friday night Curt went out with friends so I had some Ann time and watched movies and knitted.
Saturday morning hit my spin class and then abs/core class. About 1 we headed to Phil and Lisa's to pick up Phil (Lisa was out of town) and head to Alameda Oktoberfest. It was a pretty warm day. We had nice cold beer and yummy food. I had strudel and ice cream for dessert. Yum! It was so warm my feet were swelling up!
That evening Curt and I came home and crashed. Then the rest of the evening was just relaxing.
Sunday morning I hit the grocery about 10:30. Then I came home made some salsa and cleaned up the kitchen.
A little after 2 we headed to Becky and Cyrus' for a farewell barbecue. These two are heading to France for seven months to teach English. They are gonna have an amazing time. Ahhh, think of all the great places they are going to get to visit, besides the fact that they get to live in France!!!

And we are back to Monday again.

Traditionally Oktoberfest is celebrated in September. The Munich Oktoberfest, traditionally, takes place during the sixteen days up to and including the first Sunday in October.
