I am so happy Obama won. This is an amazing time in our life for so many reasons.
I am sad that Proposition 8 here in California is nearing victory. Denying someone basic human and civil rights is the true axis of evil. Prop. 8 is plain and simple discrimination and I am disgusted that people think it is OK to deny rights to someone because they are different.
I am pleased to see that Proposition 4 is failing. A synopsis: An initiative that requires a waiting period and parental notification before a minor could terminate her pregnancy was failing with half of ballots counted Tuesday. California voters had twice before rejected similar measures.
