We're Moving! ... in November
So Curt and I have been casually looking for a new place to live--a bigger and preferably more quiet place to live.
We saw an ad on Craigslist for a place and viewed it Sunday. The woman really liked us. And as Curt put it, we didn't even turn the charm on. We must be charming on our own. We filled out an application. She called us Monday to say we got it. We met her Monday night to sign the lease and give her a chunk of money.
We will be leaving Berkeley--which makes me a little sad. We are going to Oakland in an area called Rockridge--it is a very hip and nice area. There is great shopping and restaurants near by. The BART station is close. (Erica: We met Katie and Mary Flo in Rockridge for breakfast that one morning. Our new place is pretty close to Crepevine--where we ate.)
We take possession Nov. 1. So we have plenty of time to pack, figure out if we are hiring movers or our friends with beer and pizza and save a little moola.
FYI: Since we will have more room it is even a better free place to stay if you come visit us.
