Curt and I moved to Berkeley in Feb./March 2005. Now we are in Oakland--living in a cool neighborhood called Rockridge. He is still enjoying his job at Macworld. And I really like working for Onyx Pharmaceuticals. Being part of a company that is trying to find ways to treat cancer is a great feeling. Plus it is just a great company to work for. I feel very lucky to work for a great company, which is doing great things.

Yesterday morning I paid $39.82 to fill my tank! This is obscene. I am so thankful to not have to drive to Carefree every day.
i can't believe the price of gas has tripled, just in the time since i started driving! i paid 35 bucks to fill up my tank the other day, and my car is supposed to be "fuel-efficient." i agree with erica... thank goodness the long commute days are over.
