Congratulations to Robert & Leah!
Leah (and Robert) are expecting. Baby Beckidad is due mid-January. I am so happy for them! They are gonna be great parents. I can't wait to meet my new little niece or nephew.Monday, August 14, 2006

Curt and I moved to Berkeley in Feb./March 2005. Now we are in Oakland--living in a cool neighborhood called Rockridge. He is still enjoying his job at Macworld. And I really like working for Onyx Pharmaceuticals. Being part of a company that is trying to find ways to treat cancer is a great feeling. Plus it is just a great company to work for. I feel very lucky to work for a great company, which is doing great things.

I talked to Leah this morning and she mentioned that you asked when you could blog about it. So, I guess it is officially out? I haven't told anyone, except Casey, and can't wait to tell everyone I know! Well, really just my mom...who will be really excited for them.
I'm so happy for them. They WILL make great parents. Now they'll just have to stop arguing over who is going to get to stay home! He He. (Leah, just kidding!).
Yes, she gave me the word today. So I didn't waste any time. I can't wait to tell my mom, too. I had a dream the other day that I told my mom even tho. I wasn't supposed. shhh. :) Yea, now I am gonna blab, blab, blab.
When I talked to Leah she mentioned how touched she was by the gift card and that she felt badly that she hadn't thanked you but she has been out of town. Wait until she gets the other gift! I don't think she reads your blog but just in case...mums the word!
She e-mailed me and thanked me. I think I just sent it last week anyway. I am happy to know she was touched.
It's fun when your friends have a baby. I can't wait to buy Baby Beckidad all kinds of stuff.
